Prof. Mária Törőcsik
Prof. Mária Törőcsik has taken her degree at the Faculty of Businesses of the University of Pécs, where she still works as a marketing professor. She teaches marketing, marketing strategy, consumers’ behaviour and brand management, etc. Several studies of hers have been published concerning the above topics, furthermore she also wrote more books that dealt with different fields of marketing.
For more than a decade she has been engaged in marketing consultancy, research within the business framework. Her simultaneous experience of teaching, scientific research, publications and business management enrich and inspire our work. She started dealing with trend research in 2006.
In 2009 the Prime Minister’s Office commissioned Prof. Törőcsik with taking part in the work of the Hungarian Country Brand Committee as its president. She has also been member of the Hungarian Marketing Association, the Hungarian Advertising Association and of the Marketing Subcommittee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
